The service
TripMate lets groups plan trips: itinerary, expenses, settle-up records, packing lists, photos, documents, and optional Mate AI suggestions. The product is provided by CodexJar Technologies Pvt Ltd. Support: support@codexjar.com.
Accounts
You need a mobile number to sign in. You are responsible for the devices that receive your OTP and for activity on your account. We may disable an account that is blocked or inactive.
Your content
You keep ownership of the trip information, photos, and documents you add. You grant us permission to store and display that content so the app can work for you and the people you invite. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
Money and UPI
Expense and settlement figures are records inside a trip. TripMate does not hold money and does not move money. A settle-up action opens another UPI app on your phone. There is no payment callback to TripMate. You are responsible for checking the amount in your UPI app before you pay.
Optional features
- Google Drive, when enabled, stores files you choose in a Drive account you connect. We do not store your Google password.
- Mate AI, when enabled, sends your prompt and trip context to an AI provider and returns suggestions. Treat those suggestions as drafts, not guarantees.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse OTP or invite features, attempt to access other people’s trips, or use the service for unlawful activity. We may rate-limit or refuse requests that look abusive.
Availability
We aim to keep the service working but do not promise uninterrupted access. Features such as SMS, storage, Drive, and AI depend on third-party providers.
Ending the account
You can delete your account from the app Profile screen. Shared financial records may be anonymized rather than fully erased so other members’ balances remain intact. Details are on the account deletion page.
